ISLAMABAD: Turkey and Azerbaijan, where they defeated a non-Muslim power like Armenia, are now coming to Pakistan for important talks on the Kashmir issue.
According to details, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu is coming to Pakistan next week. During the Turkish Foreign Minister’s visit, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister will also arrive in Pakistan. He will be accompanied by a delegation of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jehan Bramov, Turkish and Azeri Foreign Ministers. A tripartite meeting of foreign ministers will also be held during the visit. The meeting will focus on bilateral issues including the historic victory in Nagorno-Karabakh and the situation in Occupied Kashmir. According to sources, the Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Azerbaijan will reiterate their support for Pakistan’s position on Occupied Kashmir.
It is clear that there is a lot of tension between Pakistan and India over the Kashmir issue in the region at this time.
