Moscow: Demonstrating its full military might, Russia has begun testing several missiles. Submarines and airplanes are being used for this.
According to local media, Russia fired missiles from submarines, underground silos, and aircraft in a major strategic drill, while Russian submarines launched missiles from underground silos and aircraft Russia’s Defense Ministry says it has also begun testing an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Karelia nuclear submarine in the Barents Sea.
It should be noted that Russia has expanded its military exercises in recent years amid tensions with the West, as relations between Russia and the West have soured for the first time since the Cold War since Russia’s alliance in 2014.
In these recent experiments, the Delta IV class submarine Karelia 18 was launched in the Barents Sea. In this regard, the TV channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense Zev Zada also highlighted the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Pleskisk Kosovom in the Arkhangelsk region.
Several long-range cruise missiles were also fired from the TU-160 and TU-95 strategic bombers from the Angeles and Ukraine airfields.
Both Moscow and Washington have announced an increase in their missile power since withdrawing from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Agreement last year.
