Appeal against dismissal of Rangers personnel for bribery dismissed
Karachi: The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of two Rangers personnel on charges of bribery and financial corruption.
A divisional bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed and comprising Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed heard the appeal against the allegations of bribery. financial corruption of two Rangers personnel before the Supreme Court Karachi Registry.
The court rejected the appeal of Rangers personnel Sub-Inspector Amjad and Hawaldar Ramzan.
For accepting a bribe of Rs 90,000 Sub-Inspector Amjad was fired by the department. Hawaldar Ramzan was fired from the department for financial corruption of Rs 9 lakh.
